We at Honey Bee Removal recognize the importance of supporting the Louisiana Beekeepers Association (LBA).  The strength of their organization is not only vital  to beekeepers, but all people throughout the United States!  One out of every three bites of food that goes into your mouth is directly and indirectly related to honey bees, via pollination.
United States has four USDA Honey Bee Research Laboratories and Louisiana has the good fortune of having one of them located in Baton Rough. This research unit is directly related to improving honey bee stock and bee management. That affects everybody throughout the country.  If this lab was to close, let's say due to budget cuts, it could happen, almost did happen, what would we do?
This is where the Louisiana Beekeepers and you come in.   There is strength in numbers, politicians in Congress hear much better from the people when the voice is many.
You don't have to be a beekeeper to  join the Louisiana Beekeepers, just bee interested, it is only $10.00 per year and with that you get five e-news letters annually, sample one.  Click here for your application, print, fill out, include your check and mail in today!  You will be contributing to a cause that  truly does affect you and your family (fresh food, in abundance).

Every year, in October, the LBA and the Bee Lab in Baton Rouge host one of the best beekeepers' field day available, packed with information, people come from all over to attend.  In December, The LBA host an exceptional convention with a wide spectrum of speakers.  Something is there for the hobbyist to the professional.

Take a minute and visit the LBA and the USDA Bee Lab web sites.  If you do decide to join the LBA please contact Robert here at Honey bee removal and let him know you did join so he can Speed up your first  copy of the newsletter!  On behalf of Honey Bee Removal and the Louisiana Beekeepers Association, we thank you for your support!
